Objectives |
To maintain close
links with the staff at the University
of Glamorgan responsible for student
accommodation, in order to ensure
that the needs of both the University
and landlords are satisfied.
To provide a means by which the
requirements of the Accommodation
Department, Environment Agency,
Trading Standards and other Agencies
are communicated to landlords.
To provide a focal point for lobbying
the University, Local Authority,
Welsh Assembly etc in the interest
of private landlords in Treforest.
To encourage landlords to develop
the highest quality of accommodation
available at any British University.
To assure the University and students
that accommodation offered by
the members of the Association
is of a high standard.
To foster high professional standards
in the management of private accommodation
provision at Treforest.
To help persuade students of the
benefits of accommodation offered
by Association members.
To share knowledge and expertise
in order to help members achieve
an acceptable return on their
investment.
To provide training opportunities
for Association landlords. |
